CH 13
ROW 1: Turn, starting in the 2nd loop from your hook, SC in each ST on the CH (12 sts)
ROW 2: Turn, SC across the back of the CH (13 sts)
(you are now crocheting in RNDS)
RND 3-4: SC in each ST (25 sts)
RND 5: SC 11, SC2TOG, SC 10, SC2TOG (23 sts)
RND 6: SC 11, SC2TOG, SC 10 (22 sts)
RND 7: SC in each ST (22 sts)
RND 8: SC2TOG, SC 9, SC2TOG, SC 9 (20 sts)
RND 9: SC2TOG, SC 7, SC2TOG, SC 9 (18 sts)
RND 10: (SC 4, SC2TOG) X3 (15 sts)
RND 11: (SC 3, SC2TOG) X3 (12 sts)
Insert your safety eyes about 5-6 RNDS up on either side of your triangle.
RND 12: (SC 2, SC2TOG) X3 (10 sts)
LIGHTLY stuff, its not supposed to appear round, so only add enough stuffing to give in shape.
RND 13: (SC, SC2TOG) X3 (6 sts)
Sew the remaining stitches closed and sew in your tail.
INSTRUCTIONS SEAWEED (black yarn):
CH 4
ROW 1-10: CH 1 Turn, SC 3 (3 sts)
Using black yarn (or black thread) sew the seaweed strip to the bottom of your rice friend.
